Beginning in 2021, goalies playing at all levels must wear a chest protector that meets the NOCSAE performance standard ND200. While the specific design may vary from brand to brand, these chest protectors all must provide reinforced protection to the chest. Beginning in 2022, all levels of athletes will need to wear NOCSAE lacrosse chest protectors to comply with performance standard ND200.
