In the Eclipse II STX updated the sidewall geometry to provide increased stiffness without adding weight. They also re-designed the throat to ensure that your grip will be secure, with maximum control while throwing short or long clears. STX added a number of additional stringing holes and updated the layout. This allows you to further customize your pocket to ensure it is exactly how you like it.

A few notes. Many elite players buy this complete for the great deal on the head and shaft. They then have it custom strung with their preferred mesh and pocket. We designed a Lacrosse Fanatic goalie pocket that has a deeper pocket with minimal returns, in the mid to low range and has a smooth release. Not to brag but this has been extremely popular with our goalies. We have also seen the elite players buy two identical sticks and have them both strung the same way. This way they rotate consistently in practices and always have two game ready sticks ready to go in case they have an issue while on the field.
