The Maverik Max EKG Lacrosse Shoulder Pad is among the first line of shoulder pads to meet the new NOCSAE standard. Maverik has done an excellent job at providing a functional shoulder pad that meets all the specs without compromising range of motion and comfort. The pads are fit loosely on the shoulders allowing the same range of motion that you would normally have with previous models. Although the chest plate does add a little bit of additional weight, it took very little time adjusting to it. Overall, the Mav Max EKG shoulder pads are a high quality choice for any player at any skill level.
